Coon Rapids shooting leaves a 17-year-old injured
COON RAPIDS, Minn. — Police are investigating a shooting incident that happened at a gas station Friday evening in Coon Rapids.
Police confirm that a juvenile was injured and they are investigating. WCCO was on the scene and saw a number of police markers on the ground at the gas station.
At this time, police don't believe there is any threat to the public.
Police later released an update, confirming the victim is a 17-year-old boy who suffered injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
The investigation is ongoing.
