Coffman Union At U Of M Closed Due To Security Threat
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The University of Minnesota has closed the Coffman Memorial Union for the day after an undisclosed security threat Monday morning.
According to the University of Minnesota, Coffman Union on East Bank is closed to investigate a security threat.

University officials said security received a call around 11:30 p.m. Sunday about a suspicious package at the union. Students and staff were told not to enter the building as security searched the premises.
Metro Transit said that the Light Rail Green Line is running without delays.
Contrary to some reports, Green Line is operating as usual this morning with no disruption to service. Happy Monday everyone.

University of Minnesota Police said the union will remained close for the rest of the day, with plans to open at the usual time, 7:00 a.m., Tuesday morning.
