Clinton Wins Cookie Poll At Red Wing Bakery
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The votes are in and a winner has been declared: Hillary Clinton has won the Hanisch Bakery Cookie Poll.
Polls closed at 6 p.m. at the Red Wing bakery and Clinton won by slim margin of four cookies.
According to Hanisch Bakery, Clinton received 1,551 votes and Donald Trump received 1,547.
Hansich Bakery has been preparing their presidential cookies since August. After the cookies went on sale, staff kept count on a tally sheet every time a cookie for a candidate was sold.
According to the bakery, since 1984 the cookie poll has accurately predicted nearly all presidential and gubernatorial races.
