City Pages Calls Mark Rosen The Cities' Best Sports Anchor
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- WCCO's own Mark Rosen was honored in City Pages' 2015 edition of their popular "Best of the Cities" issue.
Every April, the alt weekly unleashes their choices for all the top items in arts and entertainment, food and drink, shopping and services, and sports and recreation.
This year, they called Rosen the best TV sports anchor.
"Since being hired full-time by the local CBS affiliate while still at the University of Minnesota, 'Rosie' has covered the Minnesota sports beat with the passion of an eight-year-old," City Pages said.
The issue also named La Belle Vie the best restaurant in Minneapolis, Meritage St. Paul's best restaurant, Hippo Campus the best new band, and Dowling Studio Lobby the best place to make out.
Other winners included Heyday (best new restaurant), Tilia (best restaurant to take your kids), and Half Time Rec (best dive bar).
