Chris Brown Cancels Minneapolis Concert

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minnesota fans of R&B singer Chris Brown will have to wait longer or travel further to see the performer, as he has reportedly canceled his Target Center concert.

Brown was scheduled to play at the Minneapolis venue in March as part of his "Between the Sheets" tour.

According to reports, the start of the tour was pushed back because a judge ordered him to complete 100 hours of community service, forcing him to reschedule a number of dates.

The punishment stemmed from him being on probation following the 2009 assault of singer Rihanna prior to the Grammy Awards. Reports say that his probation was revoked after he traveled without authorization prior to completing his community service time.

Whereas some shows have been rescheduled, reports say that the Target Center concert was canceled outright due to scheduling conflicts.
