Chinese Co. Treats 6,400 Workers With 4-Day Trip To France

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- To celebrate its 20th anniversary, a Chinese company gave its 6,400 workers quite a reward: a four-day trip to France and Monaco.

Employees with the Chinese conglomerate Tiens Group -- which has its hand in biotechnology, tourism and trade -- took a private tour of the Louvre Museum, and shopped at the luxury department store Galeries Lafayette.

Later on, the group headed down to the southern resort town of Nice, where they broke a Guinness world record for forming the largest human sentence.

They spelled out the phrase: "Tiens' dream is nice in the Côte d'Azur."

They constituted the largest tour group ever in France, pumping up to $20 million into the French economy, according to CNN.
