Chaska Woman Killed In Motorcycle Accident
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 27-year-old Chaska woman was killed in a motorcycle accident in Carver County Friday morning.
Jennifer Marie Compton died in a crash that happened at about 7:16 a.m. at the intersection of County Road 40 and 152nd Street in Dahlgren Township, according to the Carver County Sheriff's Office.
Compton was traveling southbound on CR 40 when an eastbound vehicle entered the intersection at 152nd Street. She swerved to avoid a collision, but ended up striking another vehicle. Compton was pronounced dead at the scene.
She was wearing a helmet and protective clothing.
The Minnesota State Patrol and the Carver County Sheriff's Office are investigating.
