Champlin Police Arrest Suspected Package Thief
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Champlin Police have made an arrest in connection to a string of package thefts in several metro cities.
Johnathan Demetrius Lee Henry, 34, was arrested Friday on suspicion of multiple thefts in Champlin, Brooklyn Center, New Hope and Robbinsdale.
He is accused of stealing packages left outside of homes in residential neighborhoods.
WCCO first reported on the Champlin thefts last Wednesday, which featured a still frame from home surveillance video of a man believed to be Henry approaching a home to steal a package.
Criminal charges have been referred to the Hennepin County Attorney's Office.
