CenturyLink, Vikings Announce Partnership, Wi-Fi Access Points In New Stadium
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The bricks and mortar are being put into place at the new U.S. Bank stadium. Now, construction on the Wi-Fi infrastructure will begin.
The Vikings have announced a 10-year partnership with CenturyLink. The telecom company will build the Internet infrastructure for the new football stadium. It will include 1,300 Wi-Fi access points and provide content to 2,000 TVs inside the stadium.
The deal also includes marketing for the company, including signs and advertising.
