Sheriff: Suspect Arrested In Carver Co. Bank Robbery

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Carver County Sheriff's office has arrested a suspected bank robber.

The robbery happened just after 2 p.m. Friday at KleinBank in Victoria. A bank employee said the man had a note demanding money, and showed them a knife.

Surveillance photos showed the male suspect enter the bank wearing dark clothing, a dark baseball cap and has sunglasses.

The sheriff's office posted the images to social media, which led to a call from Eden Prairie Police, who recognized the man as a known offender.

The 27-year-old suspect was arrested without incident at his Cologne residence. Investigators said some of the stolen money, clothes similar to those in the surveillance images and other evidence were found in the man's vehicle.
