Stolen cars have crashed through 2 Minneapolis tobacco stores this week, police say
MINNEAPOLIS — For the second time in a week, a stolen car has crashed into a Minneapolis tobacco store.
A WCCO crew was at the scene of a crash overnight Friday at Minneapolis Tobacco and Vapor off West 46th Street and Nicollet Avenue.
The crash is almost identical to the one Tuesday night at Tobacco Outlet Plus off 18th Avenue Northeast.
Minneapolis police say both vehicles were stolen, and the crashes appear to be related to burglaries.
It's not clear if the cases are related, or if anyone was injured in the crashes. Police are still investigating.
