Police: Bullet Found On Minnesota-Bound Plane

PHOENIX (AP) — A bullet found aboard a Minnesota-bound American Airlines plane at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport led to passengers being briefly evacuated.

Phoenix police said they were called to the airport Wednesday afternoon after a passenger reported finding a .22-caliber bullet on the floor of the plane.

Passengers headed to Minneapolis were taken off the plane and re-screened before they were allowed to re-board their flight.

Police say nothing was found and nobody was detained, but their investigation is continuing.
