Brooklyn Center Police Seeking Two Missing Children

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities in the north metro are asking the public's help in finding two children believed to be with a dangerous relative.

Brooklyn Center Police said Tuesday that they are trying to find 17-year-old Shatearra Nash and her daughter, 9-month-old Maggie Nash.

The little girl has a serious medical condition, which requires daily care, police say.

The two children are believed to with 38-year-old Shandrel Nash. Police say he poses a risk to the children's safety.

It's suspected three are on their way to Georgia or Florida. Police say that since they don't have cars, they might be hitchhiking.

The three are known to frequent discount hotels and use phones at gas stations. Police say they might also seek medical care for Maggie.

If you know anything about their whereabouts, call Brooklyn Center Police at 763-525-6215. Or call 911.
