Boy Falls 20 Feet From Spirit Mountain Chairlift
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A little boy is recovering after falling more than 20 feet off the chairlift at Spirit Mountain.
Cameron Jones was at the Duluth ski hill with other home school students on Friday when he fell. His mom told the St. Paul Pioneer Press he has several broken bones, including his hip, arm and ribs.
She said his helmet prevented the 8-year-old from sustaining worse injuries. Spirit Mountain said the ski patrol responded immediately.
