Body Of Missing Kayaker Positively Identified

PLYMOUTH, Minn. (AP) — The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office has identified a body pulled from a Plymouth lake as that of a missing kayaker.

The medical examiner says 31-year-old Paul Myklebust of St. Louis Park apparently drowned. His death was ruled accidental.

Searchers found Myklebust's body Monday in Medicine Lake. Myklebust was last seen about 2 a.m. Saturday, when he left a party to go on the lake.

Myklebust and a friend got into a kayak that eventually overturned. The other person was able to get safely to shore.

The Hennepin County Sheriff's Office and Plymouth Police are investigating.
