Body Found In Forest Lake Woods Identified

FOREST LAKE, Minn. (WCCO) — Police have released the identity of a body found in a wooded area of Forest Lake.
According to Forest Lake police, officers responded Thursday at 9:30 a.m. to the report of a deceased body found near 91 11th Avenue Southwest. A man searching for mushrooms discovered the body.
On Friday, the Ramsey County Medical Examiner identified the body as Mark Kurtz, who was reported missing on April 23 from his Forest Lake area home.
Police say there is no evidence of foul play or a threat to the community. Police are not looking for any suspects.
