Black Friday Attack: Surveillance Footage Shows Shoplifters Using Chemical Spray On Workers At Blaine Burlington Coat Factory
(DEC. 5, 2019 UPDATE: Police in Blaine removed the video from their Facebook page and reported that the suspects were juveniles. They said they believe they have enough information to close the case soon.)
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Investigators are searching for two shoplifters who sprayed chemicals at store employees on Black Friday in Blaine.
It happened inside the Burlington Coat Factory store at Northtown Mall. Security camera footage shows employees running to stop two people, then one of the suspects turns around and starts spraying.
One store employee went to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
Anyone with information on the shoplifters is asked to call Blaine Police.
