Body found in Minnesota cornfield identified as missing woman Beth Super, 60
UPDATE (Sept. 19, 2023): Authorities have identified the woman as Beth Super. What follows is a revised version of the original story.
NIELSVILLE, Minn. — Officials say a body discovered Monday in a northwestern Minnesota cornfield is that of a missing 60-year-old woman.
According to the Morrison County Sheriff's Office, Beth Super was last seen late Saturday morning, leaving her home in Flensburg in central Minnesota. She was traveling to a home in Todd County, but never arrived.
Super's vehicle, a 2014 Ford Focus, was found abandoned Sunday at an intersection in rural Nielsville, which is in Polk County about 30 miles southeast of Grand Forks.

The next day, Polk County officials said the body of a deceased female was discovered in a cornfield in the general area of the vehicle.
The University of North Dakota School of Medicine Forensic Pathology identified the body Tuesday as belonging to Beth Super.
The investigation is ongoing, but authorities say foul play is not suspected.
