"The Minnetonka Center for the Arts has a fabulous drawing program with classes for many levels," says Sara Skalle, the Center's Communications Director. "In fact, we encourage artists of all disciplines to take a drawing class at some point in their education since the skills of perceiving and capturing shapes, value and the affect of light is applicable in all forms of visual art." Each weekly workshop opens with a short lecture followed by a discussion or a slide show underscoring a technical, historical or stylistic issue.
