Consummate R&B performer Johnnie Brown presents "A Tribute to Teddy Pendergrass and the Sounds of Philadelphia." Pendergrass was a leading R&B artist in the late 70s. He suffered a terrible accident in 1982 at the peak of his career. Twin Cities native Johnnie Brown worked a lifetime to emulate Teddy Pendergrass and the Sounds of Philadelphia. He developed a relationship with the star and recruited original members of the Pendergrass Band, Sam Reed and Greg Moore. Fortunately, Brown was able to launch his endeavor before Pendergrass' death in 2010. His first show at Arnellia's in St. Paul was an awe-inspiring success. Now, Brown and his group have mastered Love TKO and all 42 of Pendergrass' hits. See him on stage for his masterful performance of LOVE TKO in A Tribute to Teddy Pendergrass.
