Becker Car Accident Claims Life Of 10-Year-Old Girl Weeks Later
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A deadly crash, blamed on a teenager running a red light, has now claimed a second life.
The family of 10-year-old Cassy Maurer says she no longer has any brain activity, and they're preparing to donate her organs. Cassy's father, Chuck Maurer, died the night of the crash.
He had the green light as he went to cross Highway 10 in Becker on July 21st, but a pickup driver slammed into the driver's side.
