Charges: Man Stole $600 Worth Of Baby Formula From Fridley Store
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 40-year-old man is accused of stealing nearly $600 worth of baby formula last week from a store in Fridley.
Jonathan Robert Browning is charged with one count of theft after being arrested by police last Wednesday, court documents filed in Anoka County show.
According to a criminal complaint, Browning loaded a storage tote with 37 cans of baby formula and left the store. Authorities later stopped him on the 53rd Avenue.
The total worth of the baby formula was $599.13. Also found in the tote were some stolen clothes.
Browning has previously been convicted of receiving stolen property and theft.
If convicted of the latest theft charge, he faces a maximum sentence of 5 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
