Baby Born On Delta Flight From Minneapolis To Baltimore

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A passenger on a Delta flight Friday morning gave new meaning to the word "airborne."

A woman aboard the flight from Minneapolis to Baltimore tweeted a photo of commotion on the plane.

"Happy Birthday to the baby being born on our Delta flight," Laura Askelin tweeted. "Here's hoping she gets off the plane asap."

Delta offered best wishes to the mother and baby in a follow-up tweet.

Askelin said the plane landed safely and also gave her best to the new mother.
