Authorities: Wisconsin Man Dead After Getting Hit By Falling Tree Limb
UNION, Wis. (AP) — Authorities in Wisconsin say a 59-year-old man is dead after being struck by a falling tree limb in Vernon County.
Vernon County Sheriff John B. Spears says Clarence T. Yoder of rural Hillsboro was cutting a tree on private property Saturday in the town of Union when he was struck by the tree limb. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Vernon County Coroner's Office.
The incident remains under investigation by the sheriff's and coroner's offices.
