Authorities: Man's Body Found In Rural Deer River
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The body of an adult male has been found in rural Deer River, Minnesota Sunday, according to the Itasca County Sheriff's Office.
The sheriff's office, along with the Grand Rapids and Deer River police departments, investigated a stolen vehicle and missing person case. During the course of that investigation, the deceased body of man was found.
The victim's identity will be released pending notification of family members. His body will be taken to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office to determine his cause of death.
Deer River is located approximately 15 miles northwest of Grand Rapids.
