NEXT Weather: Summery Thursday and Friday, soggy weekend ahead
MINNEAPOLIS — It feels like summer for the next few days, and that's a good thing because it's still summer! Fall arrives on Saturday at 1:50 a.m.
Thursday will be warm and dry again, with highs in the low 80s in the metro.
Northwestern Minnesota is under an air quality alert through 11 p.m. Thursday due to Canadian wildfire smoke leaking into the area.
The clouds increase on Friday, and rain starts to move in from the west. Most of Friday should remain dry.
It will be windy for the next several days. With the strong wind, the clouds, and the rain, it will be a fairly raw weekend. The heaviest rain at this point looks to fall overnight Saturday into the day on Sunday.
Next week temperatures will be slightly above average, but the average falls to the upper-60s by Tuesday.
