Anoka Woman, 84, Dies After Crashing Into Minivan
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - An 84-year-old Anoka woman died Thursday after driving over the center line on Coon Rapids Boulevard and colliding with a minivan.
The woman was taken to a local hospital, where she died of her injuries.
The minivan's driver, a 61-year-old Coon Rapids woman, was hospitalized with serious injuries but is expected to make a full recovery.
The crash occurred around 3 p.m. It's being investigated by the Anoka County Sheriff's Office, the Coon Rapids Police Department, the Minnesota State Patrol and the Midwest Medical Examiner's Office.
