AMBER Alert for 3-year-old Lakeville boy canceled

LAKEVILLE, Minn. -- An AMBER Alert has been canceled for a 3-year-old boy who was taken from his Lakeville home on Friday. Authorities say he has been found safe.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension said the boy's father reported him missing from his apartment on Friday morning. Authorities believed he was with a family member, and there was concern that he was not being adequately cared for.

The alert was canceled roughly two hours after it was issued. Authorities thanked everyone who helped find the boy.
