Adrian Peterson Named NFC Offensive Player Of The Month
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson is the NFC's Offensive Player of the Month for November, the team announced Thursday.
During November, Peterson rushed for a NFL-leading 634 rushing yards on 117 carries and five touchdowns. His 634 rushing yards was the most he's rushed since December 2012 – when he received his first NFC Offensive Player Of The Month title.
The Palestine, Texas native and six-time Pro Bowler also set a team record for the most November rushing yards in 2015.
Peterson currently ranks 18th on the NFL's all-time rushing list with 11,354 yards. He currently leads the NFL in rushing yards – 1,164.
