Accident Causes Minor Delays Light Rail's Blue Line

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – An accident on the Light Rail Blue Line may cause some minor delays for passengers Wednesday morning.

According to Metro Transit officials, the accident occured at Interstate 494 and 34th Avenue.

Officials say riders should expect a roughly 15 minute delay if they are headed southbound and a 10 minute delay if they are headed northbound.

The scene has been cleared, so trains are expected to be up to speed soon.

No one was injured.
