Girl, 17, seriously hurt in north Minneapolis shooting

17-year-old girl critically injured in north Minneapolis shooting

MINNEAPOLIS — A 17-year-old girl is fighting for her life after she was shot Thursday afternoon in north Minneapolis.

Police say it happened at about 4:22 p.m. near North Dupont and Plymouth avenues.

Two other juveniles at the scene were also hurt, but police say it wasn't from gunfire.

Police believe a fight lead up to the shooting. They are still investigating, but no arrests have been made.
