Polk County 911 line operational again

POLK COUNTY, Minn. — The Polk County Sheriff's Office said Sunday afternoon its phone lines have been restored after earlier issues caused 911 calls to be diverted to another county.

Earlier in the day, the sheriff's office said it was "currently experiencing problems with our emergency and non-emergency lines."

While the sheriff's office addressed the issue, 911 calls were diverted to the Norman County Sheriff's Office.

Polk County is in northwestern Minnesota.
