6Smith Serves Up Tantalizing Treats, Wicked Wines For Halloween
When throwing a Halloween party, few things are scarier than offering your ghoulish guests an incorrect pairing of wine and treats.
So, to help avoid that fright, Wayzata's 6Smith is hosting a pairing event featuring hauntingly good wines.
On Thursday, Oct. 15, 6Smith will feature an evening devoted to Halloween entertaining.
From 6 to 7:30 p.m. guests will sample wines ranging from Toad Hollow Amplexus Brut NV to Jail Break Pinot Grigio to Ghost Pines Cabernet Sauvignon. The wines will be paired with small plates prepared by executive chef Angel Luna and sous chef Matt Jossart.
Elizabeth Morrissey, of Johnson Brothers Liquor Company, will be the guest wine expert, offering up her wizardly knowledge on the world of wine.
The evening costs $46, which includes tax, tip and gratuity. Purchases, and reservations, are required in advance. And, all witches and warlocks must be 21 years or older.
It's sure to be a frighteningly good time.
6Smith is located at 294 Grove Lane E. in downtown Wayzata. For more information, or to purchase tickets, call 6Smith at 952-698-7900 or visit EventBrite online.
