6 Crazy Plays In Timberwolves History
It's the NBA Summer League so take it with a grain of salt, but Kris Dunn has opened eyes in his first two games in Las Vegas.
The Timberwolves No. 5 overall pick has made a big splash so far and lived up to every bit of hype since draft night. In his first summer league game, Dunn scored 27 points. On Sunday, he scored 21 points and grabbed nine rebounds.
But all the talk on Dunn on social media was after Friday's game against the Denver Nuggets. He used a crossover dribble that put JaKarr Sampson on the floor. Dunn missed the shot he created for himself, but Timberwolves fans were buzzing about his athleticism and potential after the game. Check it out for yourself.

In honor of Dunn, here are five other plays worthy of the highlight reel.
J.R. Rider Crazy 3-Pointer
There wasn't a shot J.R. Rider didn't like during his time with the Timberwolves, but one of his most memorable ones wasn't even intended to be a shot. Rider was just trying to save the ball from going out of bounds in a game against Sacramento when he blindly flipped it. The result: Nothing but net.
Zach LaVine Crazy Shot Goes In
Zach LaVine is known for his athletic dunks at the rim, but one of his crazier shots came last year against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Out in transition, he went flying toward the rim only to have his shot blocked by Kevin Durant. The problem for Durant: The ball bounced off the shot clock and in, and to add insult to injury, he got called for a foul.
Zach LaVine 360 Dunk Against Hornets
There were plenty of oooohs and aaaahs in the Charlotte arena on March 7 when Zach LaVine got the ball in the open court. What followed was a 360-degree one-handed dunk. It wasn't so much the dunk that was impressive, but how easy he made it look. But it probably should be for a guy that's won the NBA Slam Dunk Contest two straight years.
Ricky Rubio Pass To K-Love
If you're a teammate of Ricky Rubio, rule No. 1 is to never look at the rim when he has the ball. If you're open by even a sliver, he'll find you. This pass to former Timberwolf Kevin Love on a busted play shows that. Nothing like a blind, one-handed behind-the-back pass for an easy lay-up. It's just too bad that it's only worth two points.
Andrew Wiggins 360 Pregame Dunk
Andrew Wiggins wasn't a member of the Timberwolves yet. He was playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Summer League, but it's hard not to be impressed by the athleticism he showed as a rookie. It's a 360 dunk, which for the elite NBA players isn't very tough. But he reverses the ball around his waist without looking. And he makes it look easy. For most of us, that's something we can only dream of.
Karl-Anthony Towns Blind Shot (Didn't Count)
Remember this shot from Karl-Anthony Towns against the Thunder? It came after a whistle so it didn't count. But you can bet fans were trying to duplicate it after in their next game of HORSE.
With all the young talent on the Timberwolves this year, there should be plenty more highlights to add to the reel.
