4 Things To Know: I-94 Protest, Obama In Spain & More

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Here's a look at the four things you need to know for Sunday, July 10, 2016.

Number One: The I-94 Protest

It was a very long night for protesters and police.

Around 8 p.m. Saturday, protesters walked onto Interstate 94 in St. Paul and stayed for about four hours. They were protesting the recent fatal police shootings of black men, including of Philando Castile in Falcon Heights.

At least five officers were injured as protesters threw rocks and fireworks at them.

Officers used smoke bombs to get the protesters off the freeway.

A couple hours later, dozens of protesters were arrested near Grand and Dale after trying to get back on the interstate.

In total, 102 people were arrested, police say.

Number Two: Obama In Spain

President Barack Obama is in Spain for a quick visit.

King Felipe thanked him for visiting under the circumstances in the U.S.

Obama said it had been a "difficult week" but said the visit was important because of Spain's strong partnership with the U.S.

Number Three: Lesnar Wins

Former Gopher wrestler Brock Lesnar overpowered Mark Hunt Saturday in Las Vegas at the UFC 200.

Lesnar last competed as a UFC heavyweight in 2011.

The 38-year-old was guaranteed $2.5 million for the fight. He'll likely get more when pay per view shares are passed out.

Number Four: Miranda Says Goodbye To 'Hamilton'

The man who created the Broadway musical "Hamilton" and starred in it, made his final bow Saturday night.

Lin-Manuel Miranda said goodbye along with two other stars.

Among those who witnessed the final performance were U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, Jennifer Lopez, Jane Fonda, Rosie O'Donnell, and Charlie Rose.

The CBS Morning Anchor called it "a majestic moment in the history of theater."

"Hamilton" won 11 Tony Awards last month.
