4 Things To Know: East Coast's Snow, Bernie Sanders Heading To MN & More

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- From the east coast's major snow to Bernie Sanders fixing his gaze toward Minnesota, here are the four stories to know for Monday, Jan. 25.

East Coast Snow Storm

People all along the east coast are still cleaning up from a storm that dropped more than 3 feet of snow in some places!

Glengary, West Virginia got the most snow - 42 inches fell there.

The storm is to blame for at least 30 deaths.

More than 12,000 flights have been cancelled nationwide since Friday.

Investigation Of Malaysia Airlines Crash

Malaysian officials are sending a team of investigators to the southern coast of Thailand today - to check out some debris that could be linked to flight 370.

The airplane vanished nearly two years ago with 239 people on board.

Fishermen found a curved piece of metal that some think could be part of the plane.

However, some skeptics think it's part of a rocket launched by Japan.

Bernie Sanders & Minnesota

Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders is taking his campaign to Minnesota this week.

The Vermont Senator will hold rallies in both Duluth and St. Paul tomorrow.

He's expected to talk about many of his campaign's core issues, including campaign spending, climate change and student loans.

A recent CNN poll shows Sanders with an 8-point lead over Hillary Clinton in Iowa - although other polls show just the opposite.

Super Bowl 50 Is Set

Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos will take on Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers next month.

Sunday's victory by the Broncos stopped last year's champs - the Patriots - from going back to the Super Bowl.

Super Bowl 50 will be played in Santa Clara, California.

The big game will air right here on CBS on Feb. 7!
