Clinton-Trump Debate On CBS

Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are making last-minute preparations today for their first presidential debate. A Washington Post-ABC News poll has the candidates in a virtual dead heat, just six weeks before Election Day. Clinton has practiced full mock debates, while Trump has only studied policy ideas and possible questions he might face. Nearly 100 million people are expected to tune in tonight. You can catch the debate on WCCO starting at 8 p.m.

Arnold Palmer Death

The world is remembering golfing legend Arnold Palmer. He died yesterday in Pittsburgh from heart problems. Known as "The King," Palmer was among the most important figures in golf history, winning seven major championships and 62 PGA tour wins. Palmer was 87 years old.

Jane Pauley Taking Over CBS Sunday Morning

Television legend Jane Pauley has been named the new anchor of CBS Sunday Morning. She replaces Charles Osgood, who announced Pauley as his successor on the show yesterday. Osgood is retiring after 22 years. Pauley has been a contributor to the show since 2014.

Wild Buy Lynx Playoff Tickets

The Minnesota Wild is teaming up with the Lynx to pack the Xcel Energy Center as they enter the 2016 WNBA playoffs. The Wild bought 500 complimentary tickets for games 1 and 2 of the semifinals -- where the Lynx will take on the Phoenix Mercury Wednesday. Fans can get tickets to the game starting at 8 this morning -- it's a limit of two per person.
