4 juveniles arrested, one with gunshot wound, following Brooklyn Park shooting, St. Louis Park crash

ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn. – Four juveniles were arrested Monday night in St. Louis Park, one suffering from a gunshot wound, after a shooting and a crash.

Brooklyn Park police say they were called to a shooting on the intersection of 73rd Avenue North and Zane Avenue North around 7:30 p.m. Witnesses said they'd seen one person get out of an SUV and fire multiple shots at a sedan.  By the time officers got to the area, they were not able to find the victims or the vehicles. 

Around 8 p.m., St. Louis Park police say there was a crash on Highway 169 South, just south of Interstate 394.

The juveniles fled the scene, but were all found and arrested within the hour.

Police say the suspects "were believed to be connected to a shooting tied to Brooklyn Park." They all made reference to being shot at near 73rd Avenue North and Zane Avenue North, Brooklyn Park police say.

One juvenile was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Brooklyn Park police are leading the investigation.
