Survey: 3M Top Workplace For Millennials
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A new survey shows the top workplace for millennials is Minnesota-based 3M.
The company stole the number-one spot from Google this year in The National Society of High School Scholars career survey.
Mayo Clinic in Rochester was 13th on the list, United Health Group was 33rd and Target was 55th.
Thirteen-thousand high schoolers, college students and young professionals were interviewed for this survey in April.
The survey did not ask why people picked 3M, but it did reveal that millennials' top-career interests are related to medicine, science, technology, arts, media and business.
They hope to find fair treatment in the workplace, flexible work hours, skills to advance their career and a work-life balance.
The vast majority of young people prefer using company websites to find jobs.
