Closure Along I-35E Next Weekend In NE Metro Area
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Motorists may need to bank some extra time in the northeast Twin Cities next weekend.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation said that the section of Interstate 35E between County Road 14 and County Road E will be closing the evening of Friday, June 17.
The road is expected to remain closed until the following Monday morning.
Crews are working to remove the remainder of the old Highway 96 bridge deck, so additionally that bridge will be closed between Centerville Road and White Bear Parkway.
