Winter Weather Pushes Back Planned 35E Closure
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Our sloppy winter weather has forced the Minnesota Department of Transportation to push back a weekend closure of Interstate 35E north of the Twin Cities.
Crews had planned to fully close the interstate between Columbus and Interstate 694 in Vadnais Heights starting Friday night.
MnDOT needs to complete repairs to the highway to prevent cracks and damage to the pavement.
The closure is now scheduled on the southbound lanes on the weekend of Nov. 3 and 4.
