3 Adults Arrested In Southeast Minnesota High School Fight
AUSTIN, Minn. (AP) — Two men and a woman are facing charges for a large fight at Austin High School in southeastern Minnesota.
Twenty-seven-year-old Odell McCullough pleaded not guilty Thursday to second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon and second-degree riot with a dangerous weapon. His sister, 30-year-old Angel McCullough, and her boyfriend, 27-year-old Willie Brunt, were charged with second-degree riot and fifth-degree assault.
Local reports state investigators found that family and friends of students gathered at the school Monday to fight on their behalf.
Court documents say video shows Odell McCullough striking people with nunchucks, and his sister dragging a student by her hair and punching her. Documents say Brunt was punching several students.
A 14-year-old girl has been arrested on charges of terroristic threats, and two teenage boys were arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault.
