23 Potential Mohamed Noor Trial Jurors Have Now Been Dismissed
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A judge and attorneys excused seven more potential jurors Thursday in the murder trial for Mohamed Noor.
The former Minneapolis police officer shot and killed Justine Ruszczyk Damond in July of 2017. She called 911 to report a possible rape outside her southwest Minneapolis home. Noor shot her moments after arriving on the scene.

Seven jurors were excused Thursday. So far, 23 of 75 potential jurors have been excused because they said their minds were already made up on the case.
The state and defense will continue to question the remaining jurors Friday. Twelve jurors and four alternates are needed for the trial to begin.
Noor faces murder and manslaughter charges.
