2 Plead Guilty To St. Cloud Sex Trafficking; 1 Sentenced To 21 Years

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Two people have pleaded guilty to sex trafficking in St. Cloud, with one being sentenced to 21 years in prison, according to the Stearns County Attorney's Office.

On Monday, 27-year-old Elijah Ahmad Milsap entered a guilty plea to second-degree sex trafficking, admitting to trafficking two women in St. Cloud in March and April of 2016.

Milsap also pleaded guilty to three felony charges and one misdemeanor offense for crimes he committed against Stearns County Jail correctional officers while he was incarcerated pending his trial.

On the same day of his guilty plea, Milsap was sentenced to 252 months – or 21 years – in prison.

Last week, co-defendant Jade Myanne Orcena, 37, pleaded guilty to second-degree sex trafficking for her role in trafficking the victims. Her sentencing is set for Feb. 16, 2017. The State has requested a 113-month prison sentence, while Orcena will be requesting a lesser sentence.

According to the criminal complaint, the sex trafficking investigation began when one of the victims ran to a stranger's house during the early morning hours of April 19, 2016. Officers responded and recognized the sex trafficking nature of the report, initiating the investigation.

Due to their plea agreements, the defendants will not face federal charges.
