16-year-old boy shot, killed in Brooklyn Park
BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. -- Police are investigating after a 16-year-old boy was shot and killed in Brooklyn Park on Friday night.
Authorities say the shooting happened at the African Market, on 5700 Brooksdale Drive. The boy, later identified as Jahcohn Edward Anderson of Brooklyn Park, had been shot and was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
Police say they arrested an 18-year-old man from Columbia Heights in connection to the shooting.
