15-Year-Old Boy Hit By 2 Cars In St. Louis Park, Dies

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 15-year-old boy is dead after he was hit by two cars in St. Louis Park Thursday night.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, it happened at the intersection of Highway 7 and Texas Avenue, near Knollwood Mall. An Acura was westbound on Highway 7 when it hit the boy. The collison sent the boy flying into the eastbound lane, where a BMW hit him.

Both drivers were uninjured.

The driver of the Acura has been identified as a 59-year-old Minnetonka man and the driver of the BMW identified as a 24-year-old Minnetonka man.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts and alcohol was determined to not be a factor. Both drivers cooperated with police and remained at the scene.

Neither driver has been charged yet. Investigators are trying to determine how fast each vehicle was going.
