107-Year-Old Minn. Woman Shares Secret To Long Life
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Minnesota native is celebrating a milestone birthday today.
Evelyn Kleine says she still feels like she's 70, even though she just turned 107.
She grew up in northeast Minneapolis/Columbia Heights area and has lived in Minnesota her whole life.
She was a dressmaker during her younger years, and still sewed until her 100th birthday.
The senior who lives at the St. Anthony Health Center shared her secret to living a long, healthy life.
"I didn't drink liquor and I didn't dance," she said, "so just common living."
She thinks living a happy life also played a role.
Evelyn drove a car until age 99.
