1 Unaccounted For After House Fire In Alexandria

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities in central Minnesota say an individual is unaccounted for following a house fire early Monday morning.
The Alexandria Police Department says the fire happened around 5:30 a.m. in a home on the 400 block of Fillmore Street.
Officials say all but one resident was able to escape the home. That individual's name has yet to be released.
Monday night, authorities said one person was found dead in the home. That person has not been identified, and police did not say if it was the person unaccounted for. Two other people were hospitalized with unknown injuries.
The fire remains under investigation.
