1 stabbed during fight on Metro Transit bus in Brooklyn Park
BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. -- Authorities say a person was stabbed and another detained after a fight on a Metro Transit bus Monday evening.
Metro Transit police say its officers and Brooklyn Park police responded to the area of Zane and 63rd avenues just before 7 p.m.
Police said a large group was "actively fighting" on a route 724 bus before starting to disperse. Officers found a male with "cuts to their arms and head," and they took a man into custody. The victim's wounds are considered "non-life threatening."
Metro Transit police are handling the investigation.
