1 Killed In Accidental Itasca County Shooting
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 17-year-old male is dead after a shooting in Itasca County.
According to the Itasca County Sheriff's Office, around 11:30 a.m. on Nov. 29 deputies received a call of shooting. The caller, an 18-year-old male, told police that he accidentally shot his friend.
Upon arrival, police found the victim and confirmed he was dead. He was taken to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office.
The suspect was taken into custody. He is awaiting formal charges.
The name of the suspect and the victim have not been released.
This incident is currently under investigation by the Itasca County Sheriff's Office.
